Tips to Help You Succeed
Many candidates apply for these roles. The competition is strong. Here is how to stand out:
Put your marks at the top of your CV. Do not hide your Pure Mathematics and Science marks at the bottom. Recruiters check these first. Make it easy for them to see you qualify.
Check your spelling. Pharmacy work requires accuracy. If your CV has spelling errors, recruiters may think you are not careful.
Be honest about your location. If you live far from the store, explain how you will get to work. Transport problems are a common reason people lose jobs.
Prepare for screening. Dis-Chem will check your criminal record and credit history. If you have any issues, be honest when asked.
What Happens Next?
If you get the job, you will sign a contract. You will start as a dispensary support worker. You will study and work at the same time. Once you complete your training and register with the Pharmacy Council, you can apply for permanent positions.
This is your first step into pharmacy. Take it seriously. Show up on time. Listen to your supervisor. Ask questions when you do not understand.
Choose the store closest to you. Prepare your CV now. Submit before the closing date. Your pharmacy career starts with this one application.
