Tips for a strong application
- Separate Grade 11 and Grade 12 achievements clearly; label each document so UFS can see the year at a glance.
- Start the motivation letter early. Use a personal story that shows your goals, challenges you have overcome, and why you want to study at UFS.
- Highlight specific leadership roles (e.g., head of a club, team captain) and concrete community projects.
- Ensure all copies are certified and that the principal’s signature is obtained well before the deadline.
- Remember the final hurdle: the Top 20 finalists must achieve an AP score of at least 35 in their final matric results (released in January 2027).
