Young South Africans who want to earn a trade while working with both machines and electricity have a new chance to start now – the Millwright Apprenticeship 2026 at Tshwane South TVET College closes on 13 July 2026.
What the Millwright Apprenticeship 2026 offers
This is a full‑time artisan training programme. You will learn practical mechanical and electrical skills that are in demand in factories, power plants and other production sites. The apprenticeship combines classroom learning with on‑the‑job experience.
Who can apply (eligibility)
You must meet all of the following before you submit an application:
- Be between 18 and 35 years old
- Have a Grade 12 certificate with technical subjects
- Pass Mathematics and Physical Science
- Hold a National Certificate Vocational Level 4 in Engineering and Related Design, or a National Certificate N2–N6 in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Provide a current curriculum vitae (CV)
- Submit a certified copy of your identity document
All documents must be certified copies.

- Submit the pack before the deadline on 13 July 2026. Do not wait until the last day if you still need to certify any documents.
Applicants who have already applied for this apprenticeship should not submit another application.
