The QBurst Software Development Learnership 2026 is offering 12 fully funded places for unemployed South Africans, and you only have until 15 July 2026 to apply.
What the learnership is
It is a 12‑month programme that blends a recognised NQF Level 6 ICT qualification with hands‑on software development. You will work on real projects using Python, Java, .NET and Node.js while earning a monthly stipend.
Who can apply
You must meet all of the following conditions:
- South African citizen, aged 18–29
- Unemployed when the programme starts (you cannot be employed elsewhere)
- Completed an NQF Level 6 qualification (degree or diploma) in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a closely related field
- Available for the full 12 months
Applicants who are already employed will be disqualified.
