Fidelity internships 2026 are open right now, and two of the three deadlines are just days away. The HR and general internship applications close on 4 November 2026. The Finance internship stays open until 27 November 2026. All the roles are based at Fidelity Services Group in Midrand, Gauteng. You can follow this and other updates through Fidelity internships 2026, but apply only through the official links shared in this guide.
This page was last updated on 2 November 2026. One warning before you start: legitimate jobs, bursaries and learnerships never charge application, registration or placement fees. If anyone asks you for money to secure this internship, walk away.
What the Fidelity internships offer right now
Three internships are currently open:
- HR internship at Fidelity ADT, posted on 28 October. Closes on 4 November 2026.
- Finance internship at Fidelity Cash Solutions Head Office in Midrand, posted on 27 October. Closes on 27 November 2026. It supports debtors work.
- General internship at Fidelity ADT, posted on 28 October. Closes on 4 November 2026. The department and exact study field are not confirmed yet.
The old Admin internship is no longer available. Its original job-specific link does not open a page anymore, so it is not part of this round. Do not send your documents to any unofficial contact claiming to reopen it.
Fidelity has not published a stipend amount, contract length, number of positions or start date for any of these roles. There is also no confirmed 2027 intake date. The exact closing time on each deadline date has not been confirmed either, so do not leave your submission to the last hours.
Who can apply for the HR internship?
You qualify if you are studying towards, or have recently completed, a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field. HR knowledge is preferred, and previous HR work such as an internship or part-time role will strengthen your application.
You also need:
- Good organisation and multitasking skills.
- Clear written and spoken communication.
- Confidence in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Accuracy and discretion when handling confidential information.
Familiarity with HR systems is an advantage. Teamwork and a willingness to develop practical HR skills matter too.
What you would do in the HR role
- Support recruitment: job postings, screening applications and scheduling interviews.
- Help new employees settle in.
- Keep staff records updated.
- Coordinate engagement activities and training.
- Research HR practices and assist with projects.
- Draft communications and respond to staff enquiries.
- Help develop and implement policies and procedures.
- Assist the HR team with special assignments.
Who can apply for the Finance internship?
Yes, you can enter this role with Matric. The qualification range runs from Matric up to Honours level, so both school leavers and graduates can apply.
You must:
- Be a South African citizen aged 18 to 35.
- Hold a qualification between Matric and Honours.
- Have no criminal record.
- Understand basic finance.
- Read, write and speak English well.
- Work accurately, efficiently and pay attention to detail.
- Communicate well with people at all levels.
- Handle pressure.
What you would do in the Finance role
- Process accounts and receipts under financial procedures.
- Check, classify, calculate, post and record receivables transactions.
- Reconcile payments and investigate billing discrepancies.
- Send reminders, contact clients and collect overdue balances.
- Prepare account statements, final invoices and receivables reports.
- File records so they are easy to retrieve.
- Administer monthly payments and resolve member account queries.
Fidelity also looks for confidentiality, professional conduct, teamwork, independent initiative, meeting deadlines and clear communication in writing and speech.
Who can apply for the general internship?
This Fidelity ADT role is titled “Internship” and is described as a support opportunity. The department, exact study field and specialist tools remain unspecified. Business, communications and engineering appear as examples only. Marketing, project management and IT are also illustrative departments, not a final confirmed list.
You need:
- A relevant degree or qualification.
- Skills you can prove, including academic project experience.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Microsoft Office or suitable software proficiency.
- The ability to work independently and in a team.
- Organisation, accuracy and a proactive learning attitude.
Related internship or volunteer experience and a basic understanding of project management are preferred. Project coordination, data analysis and content creation are only examples of the possible work.
Tasks may include daily operations, project support, planning and running initiatives, research, data gathering, documentation, meeting notes and contributions, reports, presentations, stakeholder coordination and additional learning assignments. Establish which team the placement belongs to before you tailor a specialist CV. Do not assume this is a confirmed engineering, IT or marketing internship.
What you gain from these internships
Each role builds different skills. The HR placement teaches recruitment, onboarding and record management. The Finance role gives you debtors, reconciliation and collections experience that many employers value. The general internship develops project support, reporting and communication skills you can carry into almost any career.
Be honest with yourself about pay. No stipend is published, so do not budget around an assumed allowance or expect a 12-month placement. If you are shortlisted, ask about pay, attendance arrangements, transport costs and the contract period before you make any commitments.
How to apply online
- Pick the correct official form: the HR Internship, the Finance Internship or the general Internship. Check the title and deadline before entering your personal information.
- Prepare an updated CV with accurate education details, contact information and relevant skills.
- Complete the personal-details fields: your name, email, telephone number, location and the identification details applicable to you.
- Upload your CV and answer the questions about Matric or equivalent and your highest completed qualification. If you are still studying, clearly separate completed qualifications from studies in progress.
- Review every entry, read the terms and conditions, accept them if you agree, and select Submit Application before your deadline.
- Keep any confirmation the portal gives you. Submit separately for each role you genuinely match.
The forms show a CV upload. Keep your qualification evidence nearby, but follow what the portal actually requests rather than assuming every document must be certified.
What happens after you submit?
If Fidelity has not contacted you within 10 working days after the relevant closing date, treat your application as unsuccessful. Many applicants struggle with this silence, but it is standard practice, and it frees you to keep applying elsewhere.
Fidelity may decide not to appoint anyone. Existing employees receive preference, and selection is described as merit-based. Historically disadvantaged applicants and black women are encouraged to apply. The Finance role adds priority for qualifying black female candidates under its transformation policy. The HR and general roles support inclusive recruitment aligned with employment-equity principles. Meeting the minimum criteria does not guarantee selection.
Tips to improve your chances
- Match your qualification to the role. Matric makes you eligible for Finance, but it does not make you eligible for HR.
- State your study status clearly on your CV. Students should list the qualification being pursued and the expected completion date. Graduates should give the completed qualification and its completion date.
- Give an honest example of numerical accuracy, record handling or professional communication. Do not add accounting experience you do not have.
- Check that your phone number works before you submit.
- Apply early. The 4 November deadline leaves you very little time.
Take the next step today
Choose the role that fits your studies, place your qualification near the top of your CV and submit before your deadline: 4 November for HR and the general internship, 27 November for Finance.
If you hold an N6 qualification, the Mediclinic Management Assistant internship is a separate TVET route worth comparing. Its deadline is 2 November 2026, so check its status immediately instead of assuming it remains open.
Opportunities like these are competitive, and no one can promise you a place. But a clean, honest, on-time application already puts you ahead of many others. Start yours today.
