What is the AM Security Services Learnership Programme?
The programme combines classroom lessons with hands‑on work experience. It is run by AM Security Services, part of TSU Group Holdings, and is aimed at preparing you for security‑related jobs. No prior security experience is required.
Who can apply?
To be eligible you must meet all of the following:
- Be a South African citizen aged between 18 and 29
- Be unemployed and not studying for another qualification
- Live in or near Strand, Western Cape
- Have a valid South African ID document
- Have completed Grade 12 with English and at least Level 4 in every subject
- Have no criminal record
- Not already be registered with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA)
- Not be enrolled in another learnership or training programme
- Show good communication skills, reliability, independence and initiative
- Be able to work with Microsoft Office, email and the internet (advantageous)
- If you have a disability, you must provide a doctor’s certificate or a completed ITRDD13 form
The programme specifically targets unemployed Black, Coloured and Indian South Africans who meet the above criteria.
