What is the opportunity?
Far West Gold Recoveries is offering three learnership programmes for 2026. The fields are:
- Fitting and Mechanic
- Electrical
- Fabrication
Each programme gives you hands‑on training in a mining‑related workshop environment.
Who can apply?
The learnership is only for unemployed youth who live in the Merafong Community.
You must also meet at least one of these education criteria:
- Grade 12 with at least 40 % in Pure Mathematics, Science and English
- NCV Level 4
- Completed N2 (or higher) in any engineering subject
