For anyone who wants to start a real engineering career right now, Nampak’s 2026 apprenticeship intake is a chance you can’t miss. Nampak is looking for four new artisans – two Electrical apprentices and two Fitter & Turner apprentices – to join their Metals Engineering Department in Epping starting in 2027.
Who can apply?
You must have a National Senior Certificate (Matric) with:
- Mathematics
- Physical Science
- English (as a second language)
- At least 50% in each of those subjects
You also need a NTC3 Engineering qualification (or higher) that includes relevant trade theory. Both the NTC3 certificate and transcript must clearly show your subjects and marks. Matric alone is not enough.
What you will learn
The apprenticeship mixes classroom theory with hands‑on work in a real industrial setting. You will develop skills in:
