What is WorldSkills South Africa?

How to apply

- Check the eligibility conditions for your chosen skill, including any age limits (e.g., for Aircraft Maintenance, Mechatronics and Water Technology you must be under 26 in 2028).
- Download and complete the required indemnity form. Keep it handy before you start the online application.
- Gather all personal and training information:
- Your ID details and contact numbers
- Province of your institution
- Name of your university, college or training provider
- Qualification or apprenticeship details
- Chosen WorldSkills skill
- Completed indemnity form
- Visit the official application portal at worldskillsza.dhet.gov.za/application.aspx and fill in the online form.
